STANDING RULES AS OF JANUARY 17, 2008

1)  Regarding the Reimbursement of Convention and Zone Meeting Expenses to
NASE Board members:


Annual Zone Meetings:

NASE Board Members consisting of 4 Officers (Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Past
President) plus 4 Zone Representatives shall be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred
while attending their respective zone meetings.  Expenses are limited to registration fee, one
half cost of hotel room for two nights, the lesser of airfare or actual mileage at the current
government rate. Mileage to and from home to airport can be claimed.  Reimbursement up to
$50 with actual receipt for parking fees will be paid.  Transportation from airport to hotel and
hotel to airport will be reimbursed up to $50. Vouchers must be submitted for payment within
30 days of travel.

The NASE President shall be reimbursed for actual expenses for each Zone Meeting that
she/he attends.  

Bonnie Noziska, Past President, is retiring at the end of January 2008.  She has agreed to
fulfill her term to the end of June 2008.  Bonnie will continue to be the Resolution Coordinator
until June 30, 2008.  NASE will continue to pay Bonnie’s 2008 Zone expenses as if she were
still an employee.


Annual National Convention:

NASE Board Members, consisting of 5 Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary,
Treasurer and Past President) plus 4 Zone Representatives, shall be reimbursed the following
expenses for the Annual National Convention:  Expenses are limited to registration fee, one
half cost of hotel room for up to four nights, and the lesser of airfare or actual mileage at
current government rate. Mileage to and from home to airport can be claimed.  
Reimbursement up to $50 with actual receipt for parking fees will be paid.  Transportation
from airport to hotel and hotel to airport will be reimbursed up to $50.  Vouchers must be
submitted for payment within 30 days of travel.

as if she were still an employee.



2)  Regarding the Payment of Zone Meeting Recorder’s Expenses:

Alternate Zone Representative (or designee) shall be paid $25 for taking notes at their
respective Zone Meeting to allow Zone Representative to conduct the meeting in a more
efficient manner.  Fee will be paid by the NASE Treasurer upon confirmation by the NASE
Secretary that the minutes have been received.


3)  Regarding Term of Committee Persons:

The term of office of the Chairperson of any NASE committee shall be limited to two (2)
consecutive years unless determined necessary and approved by the current Executive
Board.

Regular committee members of any NASE committee shall have no term limitation.
